"My journey with ISG has exceeded my expectations and I'm proud to be working for a thriving business."

I visited a careers fair at the University of Reading and ISG's stand captured my attention from the get-go. I soon discovered more about the company and was impressed by the scale of ISG's portfolio. ISG works on some of the most prestigious projects across the globe and I knew I wanted to kick-start my career here. I first joined in 2014 on the industrial placement scheme, and re-joined in 2016 on the graduate programme.

I have a degree in Quantity Surveying from the University of Reading, which gave me the foundation and skills to support my career at ISG. In just a year and a half at ISG, the pace at which I've developed as a professional is incredible.

I've had the opportunity to rotate across core business units, which has enabled me to get an integrated understanding of the delivery process; from discovering an opportunity to the final snagging and handover of the project. the rotation programme provides some good challenges and I was able to quickly adapt to different stakeholders and projects. Not only has this been a great learning experience, but I've been able to further develop my critical thinking skills.

I'm currently working on two office refurbishment projects in Central London, and as a graduate, there are a number of tasks I'm challenged with. I truly do learn something new every day.

ISG is a company that looks after their employees, with development always being a top priority. There are multiple training opportunities as the teams I've worked with have all supported my growth. It's such a great feeling to have the support of so many people around you, while learning from the best people in the industry. I could not image a smoother transition from my student life to the professional world, and ISG has equipped me with the tools to kick start my career. My journey with ISG has exceeded my expectations and I'm proud to be working for a thriving business.
