The Becasse Bakery is a modern interpretation of a French patisserie and bakery. Designed to be chic, classy and elegant with a vibrant and edgy ambiance, the ION Orchard 70-seater restaurant marks the first of an initial project to be delivered by ISG in Singapore.
The project itself involved the creation of a new restaurant on an island site on Level 4 of the ION Orchard Shopping Centre. This involved segregating the site demise from the operational shopping centre and delivering the project out of hours so as to maintain an invisible presence during operational hours.
From receipt of the construction issue interior design documentation, ISG delivered this restaurant in a four-week period.
The second project is housed in a heritage bungalow within the historical Dempsey Hill area, and presented significant coordination and structural demands in order to accommodate the front and back of house requirements from a spatial, operational and structural perspective.
