Prior to being awarded this high specification fit out for UBS, ISG had already delivered a total of 470,000 sq ft for financial services clients in One Raffles Quay, so this was a building ISG knew well. Key features of the project included a reception area, double floor-height auditorium, training rooms, offices, breakout area, kitchen, client meeting rooms and dining rooms.
Key challenges involved the design and build of the auditorium, which formed the main feature of the client area. Other challenges included developing the sophisticated design of curved walls and ceilings into reality in a tight timeframe.
ISG was responsible for the full coordination and supervision of many client-appointed vendors and packages, such as M&E, security, IT, audio and video and kitchen equipment to ensure all services were properly integrated during construction.
