Introduction

Westpac’s aspiration was to create an inspiring and engaging place to work for its employees, as it looks to develop deep relationships in the region and expand its capabilities to service its growing customer base.

Design concepts transpired through a thorough investigation process, including a series of interviews between Westpac’s various departments and the project team to assess end-user requirements and workplace characteristics.

The project

Our fit out of Westpac’s regional headquarters achieved the highest endorsement for sustainable workplace environment; LEED Platinum. The 38,000 sq ft project included the construction of an internal staircase to connect floors 26 and 27 in Asia Square. The office accommodates a workforce of 400 in open plan and cellular offices with approximately 60 trading positions.

There is also a range of meeting and conferencing facilities with break out space and collaboration areas. The scope of works included the construction of an IT suite and our responsibility included the supply and installation of IT equipment as well as UPS and CRAC units.
