ISG has recognised its project team in Singapore who have successfully handed over a defect-free project for an American pharmaceutical organisation.
Located at The Strategy building, the project involved the full restoration of premises spanning 178,000 sq ft and delivered in four phases.
The phasing was scheduled around IT decommissioning work to avoid any system disruptions prior to full system migration.
Our project team worked closely with the customer and landlord, Mapletree, and provided the flexibility and speed required to hand back the nine floors to original specification on time or early.
As a result, three units of the tenancy were delivered ahead of the schedule and all floors were handed over defect-free.
ISG’s project manager, Jeff Tee, said: “Our team conducted pre-inspection meetings every week with the landlord before every pre-handover dates of each phase.
“This proved an important factor, as every progress and detail was reviewed by all parties, giving us the opportunity to identify any issues and address them ahead of the actual handover date.
“The other key factor was our quality assurance/quality control process, which was observed very closely by our project team and trade partners.
“Undoubtedly, the fantastic support and co-operation by our trade partners led to the overall success for us and our customer.”
The project was handed over and closed out following 51,639 accident-free hours on site.
